SRP and D-O-C
Well, the Summer Reading Program started yesterday. We’ve got all but one of the kids tested (she’ll be tested tomorrow) and placed in groups. They seemed surprised that • Read • Write • Think • Repeat • was my site—but in a good way. I think some of them are very excited about using the book blog.
Last night, I ordered two books from Amazon, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and a book on Educational Blogging. I’m looking forward to them both. The blogging book should be here Friday and HP should arrive on Saturday. (Gotta love release-day delivery!)
AJ is so sweet lately, he’s been so generous with hugs and kisses except for at bedtime. We were asking him if he wanted a brother or sister at dinner tonight and he said sister more than brother (more often). From his mouth to God’s ears! 
Thursday is a field trip to Montour Preserve, this weekend is camping at Sportsmen’s, and Sunday is Nikole’s birthday party. Should be a busy but fun time.
