AJ’s first week

AJ started at his new school this week. His teacher said Friday that he’s fit in so well that she forgot he was new.

Highlights of the week as told to me by AJ:

Day 1:  Gym, ABL (Action Based Learning) where they ran pompoms from one end of the room to another. At another station, they dropped them into (something) and counted them as they dropped them into (whatever it was), Lunch.

Day 2:  He had fun at my school. (He’s going to work with me in the morning and then when it’s time, I take him down to his school.) Reading through the books in my library and going to his library and checking out books.

Wednesday—snow day—need I say more?

Day 3: Sebastian knocked him down on the way out of the building. Also he and Jack had to put their heads down because Jack wanted to make circles (with something, blocks maybe? I’m guessing) and AJ kept trying to get him to do the right thing, spell names (again with the blocks or whatever.)

Day 4: Lasagna for lunch—loved it! Also, he’s enjoyed coming to work with me in the morning and helping me check in books.

Hopefully, we’ll only be commuting for the next week!
