AJ’s cowl
AJ asked me to knit him a scarf, but I know he’s got a tough time keeping things wrapped so as I was knitting, I decided to do a cowl instead. I stopped when I thought it was about the right length and checked the next morning. He initially balked and said he still wanted a scarf, but I kind of bullied him into the cowl.
It was a rather simple project and I’d definitely do another. I think John would like one, but I am afraid that he’ll end up destroying it because of his unshaven whiskers (I get beard burn frequently.) I’m not sure what would be a good choice of yarn for his. This one (acrylic, wool and alpaca) would be ruined for sure!
Very nice – I like the pattern you did. It really shows off the multi color yarn nicely.
