Newsletter time

born digitalI haven’t done a newsletter for work in a while, even though I probably should have done one sooner. I shared information on two books in the library’s collection, pictures I got through a grant, and the fact that our new computer labs are up and running. One book was No Choirboy, which I mentioned reading last weekend. The other is called Born Digital and is about the first generation of people who don’t know life without a computer or internet access. The authors call that generation people born after 1980—which honestly seems a little early to me, but I’ll accept it. It’s pretty interesting so far.
I feel like I’m constantly dragging of late. I did go to the endocrinologist in August and they changed my dosage of thyroid medicine, but I’m still always tired. I go back over Thanksgiving break and hopefully they’ll find something that will work better for me. I’m tired of being pertpetually exhausted.

This is a short week; parent teacher conferences are Thursday and Friday. I work 8-8 on Thursday and then only 8-11 on Friday. I’m looking forward to that shortened day! Hope you have a great week, thanks for reading.

Did they check your Vitamin D levels? When I was being good and taking mine I felt so much better. Amazing how my energy levels went up. Need to go back to that now that the flu is gone.
