First lost tooth

Published by Kim at 9:39 pm under NewsApple of My EyeAJKids Are Funny!NaBloPoMo09

AJ lost his first tooth yesterday. It’s been wiggly for a few days and finally he worked it out on Thursday night after our supper of leftovers. He was so excited about it, talked non-stop about it, the tooth fairy (who he didn’t believe in a few days ago), and how he was going to show Adam and Lucas the tooth.

I had a two dollar bill that came in the mail as an incentive to complete a survey (that I didn’t complete) so that’s what got inserted into the Tooth Fairy Pillow that he hung on his doorknob. Thank God for that—with company, it’s highly unlikely she could have gotten in and out of his room without waking someone! When AJ showed me the money in the morning, I ooh-ed and ahh-ed and told him I’d never seen a $2 bill before. He decided that perhaps the Tooth Fairy makes them! :)

Tonight, he told me he thought he felt another loose tooth in the back on top. He let me stick my finger in his mouth to feel it and it seems his six-year molars are coming in too.

Congratulations to AJ on the first Tooth Fairy visit. NHL received some of the presidential dollar coins for his first tooth. Good luck with the molars. We have had most of those in for quite some time now. I am just cringing for the next wigglers.
